Our fees are all inclusive. We tell you up front, and there are no surprises. The fees are based on time—the longer you spend with the physician, the more you pay. You can decide how much time you want. During your visit with MediCruiser, you can discuss any health problem at all, and as many as you want. This is completely different from the typical clinic, in which you can be seen for usually just one problem, and it has to be a “medical” problem. Fees are paid at time of service, by check, credit/debit card, or cash. Our fees include EVERYTHING! Lab tests in the clinic are FREE. Most of our supplies are provided FREE. Only special expensive lab tests or equipment are additional. Some lab tests need to be sent out to a special laboratory. However, we have negotiated greatly discounted rates with the laboratories, and are able to pass the cost savings on to you. There is NO EXTRA CHARGE for surgery, procedures, treatment, special examinations, paperwork, referrals, consults, or any other service.
Fee schedule $85 for up to 30 minutes $115 for up to 45 minutes $135 for up to 1 hour Simple, straightforward, and inexpensive. There are no additional charges for physician time.
If You Have Insurance We currently accept Medicare and Medicaid, and will soon accept many other insurance plans. If you have an insurance plan which we are not signed up with, then we will give you an invoice to submit to your insurance. Because our fees are so low, you will probably be reimbursed 100% for your expenses at MediCruiser. How can MediCruiser charge such low fees? We are able to charge very low fees—about one third as much as other clinics—because we are extremely efficient and high-tech. We use very little paper. All of our instruments are electronic—fast and inexpensive. We provide 21st century medical care. The American Medical Association estimates that 87% of clinics still use paper charts—an incredibly time-consuming, labor-intensive, and error-prone system. We use a sophisticated electronic medical record that we can access anywhere, any time, and provide you with a printout or electronic form of your medical record. We do most of our lab tests on the spot, with advanced technology instruments. Therefore, we are able to provide these tests free of charge. Other clinics may draw blood or collect urine samples to send to an outside laboratory. This is slow and very expensive. With us, it is free.
What about house calls? No. We have the same fee schedule whether you come to the clinic or get a house call. So why not save your time and travel expense to get a house call?
